If it wasn’t for women, fly fishing wouldn’t ever be invented! On the hallowed waters of the River Avon in England Dame Juliana and her nuns invented the sport of fly fishing in the late 1400’s. Fly fishing has always since been a gentleman’s club sport where pipes, cigars, and drinking fine whiskey in prestigious clubs where the norm. But women have now come into the sport in droves and are some of the finest fly anglers on the globe.
I am very proud and honored to have taught some outstanding talented women the craft and casting art that a woman’s touch so perfectly matches. Several of these ladies have been on fly fishing magazine covers and have become more talented and passionate than most men.
I am very proud to and honored to host female anglers and look forward to many years of teaching new ones this amazing sport.
