 Jon is a passionate trout bum and loves dry fly fishing, hatches and throwing streamers- not to mention chases steelhead in the toughest conditions and loves it ! He is very patient, uses the best tackle made and can take beginners and experts alike for a memorable day. Jon Fortuna is a native to west Michigan who grew up fishing Michigan rivers and streams for the past 25 years. For the past 17 years Jon has focused his attention exclusively to fishing the Muskegon River. With a vast resource of attained local knowledge and years of experience fishing the Muskegon, Jon has become a very dedicated and successful fishing Guide to offer clients the ultimate fishing experience.

Jeff Bacon is an extremely accomplished senior guide on Michigan's rivers, Jeff is an expert at all facets of fly fishing. He was our first guide when we opened Gray Drake and has become an expert on salmon, Steelheading and is a master troutsman. He knows his hatches, ties great flies and is one of the most professional and fun guides to be with. He is also very patient, mature and a great instructor!
